BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT

A Brenham woman has been arrested on an assault charge.
27-year old Lakendrea Holmes of Brenham was arrested after police were called to the 700 block of South Jackson St. early Sunday morning.
Just after 12:30 am, Officer Kejan Mehlhorn, arrested Holmes after he determined she had allegedly committed the assault.
Holmes was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for assault causes bodily injury.
