BRENHAM ISD TRUSTEES MEETING TO CONSIDER RENEWAL OF OPTIONAL FLEXIBLE SCHOOL DAY PROGRAM

Brenham ISD trustees will meet on Monday to potentially renew PRIDE Academy’s Optional Flexible School Day Program for the new school year.

The Board will first look at a review of last year’s program performance, before deciding on an application for this year for the program.  The program is designed to help students who are unable to attend the entire school year, have a job during school hours, and those who come back to school to earn diplomas or school credit.

Trustees will also look at bids for district fuel, waivers for Texas Education Association staff development, and receive an update on facility renovations.  In addition, they will hear recommendations from the safety and security committee, an update from the athletic director, and an Advanced Placement annual report.  They will also recognize the recipients of the “You Make a Difference” award.

The Brenham Board will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m., in lecture rooms 111 and 113 of Brenham High School.
