MAN ARRESTED ON LONG LIST OF CHARGES

A Houston-area man has been arrested on a slew of charges after police were called to a local store, Sunday night.

Just after 9:00 p.m., police were called to a theft report at the local WalMart in the 200 block of Highway 290 West.

36-year old Matthew Ray Galloway, of Spring, was reported to be stealing items inside the store by placing alternate barcodes on merchandise.

Galloway was reported to have left location, and was later found by another officer.

Galloway was charged with Possession and Unlawful use of a Criminal Instrument, Theft Property Less than $250, two counts of Forgery of a Government Instrument, Fraudulent Destruction of Writing,  Failure to Identify as a Fugitive/With Intent to Give False Information, Wrong Fictitious Altered, or Obscured License Plate, and a Warrant for Forgery.

Galloway was taken to the Washington County Jail.
