WASHINGTON CO. HOSTING 4-H FAMILY NIGHT NEXT WEEKEND
Washington County is holding its 4-H Family Night and Star Awards Banquet next weekend.
The banquet will be held on Friday, August 3rd, at the Washington County Fairgrounds Event Center. The event gives Washington County 4-H an opportunity to look back on the past year and honor those that have helped contribute to the program. It also lets youth of the community be recognized for outstanding accomplishments.
All members of 4-H and their families are invited to attend. This year’s theme for Family Night is “Route 4-H: Adventure Awaits”.
Tickets are available at the Washington County Extension Office—at 1305 East Blue Bell Road—for $10 a plate, serving barbecue brisket & sausage, twice baked potatoes and green beans. Current active 4-H members do not require a ticket and will eat for free. The meal will start at 6 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:45 p.m.
