BRENHAM MAN FACES STOLEN CAR AND OTHER CHARGES

A Brenham man is in police custody on numerous charges, including auto theft.
Wednesday morning, around 5:00, Corporal David Dudenhoeffer pulled over a vehicle on State Highway 36 North near North Dixie Street, driven by 29-year old Justin Lampe of Brenham.
During the course of the traffic stop, Lampe was found to have an invalid driver’s and to be in possession of methamphetamines.
Further investigation found that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Jersey Village.
Lampe was charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions, and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
Lampe was transported to the Washington County Jail.
