BARNHILL CENTER HOME TO ‘BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE’ FOR JOHN BELAND
The Barnhill Center is hosting an evening with a famous country artist next weekend.
Next Saturday, August 4th, guests can look forward to an evening with award-winning author and musician John Beland, as part of his ongoing “Best Seat in the House” series.
Beland, who began professionally recording at the age of 17, first got started on the Glen Campbell television show, before going on tour with names like Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton. Beland says he knew early on that he wanted to pursue the guitar.
Beland says “Best Seat in the House” comes from his history of performing alongside some of the biggest names in country music. He’s also published a book with the same name, along with a CD and radio show.
Beland says fans can expect an intimate gathering, with a lot of stories and music.
Beland will also be signing books at the concert next Saturday, which starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $20.
