DISASTER AID USA TO SPEAK AT WASHINGTON CO. ROTARY CLUB MEETING

  

A special guest from Disaster Aid USA will speak at Thursday’s Washington County Rotary Club meeting.

Wayne R. Beaumier Sr., Chairman of the Board of Disaster Aid USA, will be speaking Thursday at noon at the Cannery Kitchen.  He is past president of two clubs in Rotary District 5890, and a Presidential Citation Award winner.

Beaumier has also served four times as Assistant Governor, currently serving his third term as District Disaster Chair, and is a Distinguished Service and Community Service Award winner.

As one of the Ambassadors for the Houston area and as Zone 21b Chairman, Beaumier is in charge of developing eight Rotary Districts’ strike teams that assist the public in natural or man-made disasters.  He has been deployed out of the country four times, and has logged over 5,000 volunteer hours.

The Rotary Club meeting will take place Thursday at noon at the Cannery Kitchen.  The public is welcome to attend, with a $10 admission fee to cover lunch.  For more information, visit www.washingtoncountyrotary.org.
