SCHULENBURG FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND AT WOLTERS PARK

  

Schulenburg is set to host the national party of Texas, as the Schulenburg Festival kicks off this weekend at Wolters Park.

Starting Friday evening, events for the weekend include rodeo action, the Chili Cookoff, the Grand Festival Parade, and men’s and women’s softball tournaments.  Festival President Mike Zweschper says the entertainment lineup is packed with local favorites.

 

Zweschper says the music lineup extends all the way through Sunday, giving fans plenty of choices.

 

Zweschper also says proceeds from the event benefit local communities and organizations.
