CHAPPELL HILL TO HOST 13TH ANNUAL LAVENDER AND WINE FEST

  

Animal and wine lovers can look forward to this weekend’s Lavender and Wine Fest in Chappell Hill.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm, the festival will feature live music, food vendors, and wine tastings.  Lavender Farm owner Debbie McDowell says there will also be plenty of animals for the kids.

 

According to McDowell, the festival started as a neighborhood festival, showcasing local businesses to surrounding communities.  The festival has grown quite a bit since its beginning, but she has made an effort to keep the small, home-town feel that made it popular.
