CALDWELL ISD CALLS FOR BOND ELECTION
The Caldwell school board has called for a bond election in November.
Monday night, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call for two propositions on the November ballot.
Proposition A calls for new construction to add career education classrooms and science labs to the high school campus, renovations to the Ag shop and classrooms, a new middle school/high school gym, renovations to the current middle school to convert it to a PK - 3 campus, and renovations to the intermediate campus to make it a junior high.
Proposition B calls for refunding money used to complete the HVAC project at the high school this summer.
The bonds would total just under $40-million.
