WASHINGTON CO. FAIR CHUCK WAGON COOK-OFF SET FOR FRIDAY, SATURDAY
The 150th Annual Washington County Fair will soon be here, along with all of the fair festivities, one of which is the upcoming Chuck Wagon Cook Off on Friday and Saturday.
This is the fourth year the fair will have a Chuck Wagon Cook-off, with wagon judging at 4 p.m. on Friday.
Fair Committee member Lonny Tegeler says these chuck wagons are restored to match the way they were in the cattle drives of the late 1800’s.
Tegeler says Saturday’s cook-off will feature several prizes and delicious food
Tickets for the noon meal are $10, which can be purchased onsite the day of the event. The cook-off will take place at the Poultry Barn at the Washington County Fairgrounds, at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham.
