BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED FOR FELONY DRUG OFFENSE

A Brenham man has been sentenced to prison on a felony drug offense, in the latest session of the 21st Judicial District Court.
38-year-old Abel Perez Castillo of Brenham plead guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance—a Second Degree Felony, occurring December 5, 2017. He was indicted in mid-August for the possession charge.
Castillo was sentenced to five years in prison by District Judge Carson Campbell. He will also need to pay a $180 lab fee.
