BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE FOR DRUG POSSESSION
Brenham police made three drug arrests on Tuesday.
At about 10:10 a.m., Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop on FM 389. After investigating, Martinez located prescription pills and THC oil on the passenger, and inside of the vehicle.
Two suspects, 17-year-old Christin Antonio Izzekell Torres, and 36-year old Ismael Pantaleon-Hernandez, each of Brenham, were placed in custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as No Driver’s License. They were taken to the Washington County Jail.
Later on Tuesday, about 6:15 p.m., Investigator Kevin Mertz stopped a vehicle on Old Independence Road. Upon contact with the driver, 33-year-old Hermelando Villanueva Rivera of Brenham, it was determined he did not have a driver’s license.
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed both cocaine and marijuana. Rivera was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and No Driver’s License.
