CLYDESDALES TRAVELLING THROUGH DOWNTOWN BRENHAM THURSDAY
The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make their way through downtown Brenham tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
Starting at 6 p.m., a hitch of horses will deliver beer cases to destinations in downtown Brenham.
The horses will start on East Main Street and turn left onto South Market, stopping at Las Americas. From there, they will go onto East Commerce and stop at BT Longhorn Saloon and the Brenham Grill.
They will then wind their way around West Commerce onto West Alamo Street, making stops at Funky Art and Yumm’s Sweets and Eats.
After that, they will make their way onto South Baylor Street, for stops at the Washington County Courthouse and Ninety Six West.
Following that, the horses will turn onto East Main Street and make a roundabout onto South Park Street, making stops at Legends, the Barnhill Center, and Roux Street along the way.
Once the horses are on South Park Street, they will stop at Corner Liquor and the Ant Street Inn. From there, they’ll make their way back onto South Baylor Street, with a final stop at Home Sweet Farms. They will then turn onto East Alamo Street and wind their way back to East Main. The trip is expected to end at 8 p.m.
Additional events with the Clydesdales include stable viewings today (Wednesday) until 10 p.m., tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
There will also be a Hitch Show and Rodeo Ride through the Rodeo Arena on Friday and Saturday, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
In addition, there will be photo ops with the Clydesdales on Sunday from to 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Kenney Store, at 811 South Loop 497 in Kenney, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bullpen Sports Bar and Grill in Giddings, at 2156 County Road 217.
