BRENHAM CVS PHARMACY CLOSING TUESDAY AFTERNOON

The Brenham CVS Pharmacy will be closing today (Tuesday).

This morning, CVS store manager Trey Yenger confirmed that the store on 2500 South Day Street in Brenham will be closing this afternoon, at 3 p.m.

When speaking with KWHI last week, he stated the property lease was not renewed by H-E-B, owners of the property.  It is unknown what the owners intend to do with the store property.

A notice alerting customers of the closing is currently at the entrance of the pharmacy.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Demetria Isaac said the store’s employees will be transferred to other CVS’s in the district, like Waller or Sealy.

She also said prescriptions left with the pharmacy will automatically be sent to the Walgreens across the street, but customers can take the prescriptions to other pharmacies.

  1. I’ll bet Palais Royal’s lease will not get renewed either. HEB is going to expand again or knock those buildings down for parking.

  2. I hate to hear this news, Looks like palais royal Will also be closing ( Hopefully moving to another location) Brenham is losing Retail stores instead of gaining them. No wonder people go to Houston or College Station to shop, Cant find what we need here. For a town as large as Brenham we do not have very much to chose from in the way of Shopping. We always hear talk of stores wanting to locate here. But then for some reason they never do. Makes people wonder who is stopping them and why.

    1. I love H.E.B., don’t get me wrong. I have no complaints about them, but if Palais Royal has to close down – what does that leave us for clothes (for anyone over the age of 30 that is). Also, we don’t have really any other afforadable options for housewares, electronics, crafting… nothing that competes with the prices of Wal-Mart. This town needs something other than WalMart. We can’t all afford to go to specialty stores. We absolutely need more options here.
