HOMECOMING PARADE WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM
Dozens of entries are set to appear in tonight’s (Wednesday) Brenham Homecoming Parade.
Floats will line up on Main Street in downtown Brenham this afternoon, starting at 5 p.m., with the parade kicking off at 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Lights, Camera, Cubs!”
Voting is currently underway at Brenham High School for Homecoming King and Queen. This year, ten girls and ten boys are up for the honor.
Queen nominees are Savannah Bartay, McGee Eschete, Carson Groves, Chloe Hamilton, Paige Kenjura, Odette Lira, Vina Luu, Kathryn Marshall, Tatum Smidovec, and Molly Voskamp.

The Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime of the Brenham – East View football game Friday night. The King will be announced at the Homecoming dance after the game.
KWHI will have live coverage of tonight’s Homecoming Parade through downtown Brenham, starting at 6:20 p.m. KTEX-106 will also have live reports from the parade, through the afternoon.
In addition, KWHI will broadcast Friday’s Homecoming game at 7:30 p.m., with pre-game starting at 7 p.m.
