HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED IN FAYETTE COUNTY FOR METH POSSESSION
Fayette County authorities arrested a Houston man Wednesday afternoon for possession of methamphetamines.
Around 3:15 p.m., Deputy Darrell Maze stopped a vehicle headed west on State Highway 71 near the Scenic Overlook, about 10 miles west of La Grange, for a traffic violation.

While investigating, Deputy Maze noticed the driver had an open container of alcohol. Upon further search, he discovered three bags of crystal meth inside the vehicle.
25-year-old Keith Brandon Griffin of Houston was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
