NEW BEGINNINGS “WALK FOR LIFE” THIS SATURDAY AT HOHLT PARK
Everyone is invited to the Hohlt Park Amphitheatre in Brenham this Saturday for the 4th Annual “Walk for Life”.
Being hosted by New Beginnings Pregnancy Center, the fundraising walk gets underway with registration at 8 a.m., and the walk at 9 a.m. When people register, they get a personal “walk page” online, where they can invite people to sponsor them as they walk through the park.
The fundraiser is more than halfway to its goal of $22,500. Money raised goes towards operations of the center, providing support for women who are expecting.
Pregnancy Center Executive Director Melinda VanOstrand says the event has a lot more going on than just walking.
