KIDFISH NEXT SATURDAY AT BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center is preparing to host the 12th Annual KIDFISH next weekend.
Set for October 27th, the event invites everyone to come out to the Aquatic Center for a morning of fishing, family, and fun. Catfish are dumped into the outdoor leisure pool, and it’s up to fishers to reel in the big one.
Guests can either bring their own poles, or use the ones provided. Trophies will be awarded to the top catchers.
Aside from fishing, other activities include lessons on tying knots, casting, first aid lessons, CPR demos, and more. In addition, there will be swimming in the indoor pools from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event gets underway at 8:30 a.m. at the Aquatic Center, located at 1800 East Tom Green Street. The free event is being sponsored by Brenham Elks Lodge, Blue Bell Creameries, Kountry Boys Sausage, and the City of Brenham.
