BEN LEMAN SPEAKS WITH KWHI ABOUT HIS CAMPAIGN

Ben Leman

This week, KWHI will talk with each of the candidates for State Representative of District 13, as well as Washington County Commissioner of Precinct 2.

Today, we continue with the Republican candidate and current representative of District 13, Ben Leman.  Leman, former Grimes County Judge, says he feels very strong going into this election, as he believes the Republican base is energized and at attention.

Leman says property taxes are one of the biggest issues for voters in this year’s election.

Illegal immigration is another of Leman’s top priorities.

Leman is also concerned with how the state funds itself as its population grows.

Early voting runs through 5 p.m. on Friday, with Election Day set for November 6th.  KWHI will bring election results as they happen, beginning when polls close at 7 p.m. on November 6th.
