BURTON MAN GETS 10 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE
A Burton man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty this week in 21st District Court.
21-year old Allen Michael Daniels was sentenced to 10 years on each of two felony charges: Robbery and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Daniels was charged with the robbery in August, while the Aggravated Assault charge stems from an incident in June.
54-year old Ashraf Nazar Ali of Richmond, who was arrested as part of a massive local drug investigation, had his 10 year prison sentence reduced to 10 years’ probation.
Ali, a former Brenham convenience store owner, was convicted after his arrest for selling synthetic marijuana to undercover officers.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison back in June. That sentence was reduced, yesterday, to 10 years Shock Probation.
Also sentenced in District Court:
41-year old Justin Wayne Brauner of Burton was sentenced to six years in prison on two counts of Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance.
Brauner was arrested following a traffic stop by Brenham Police back in January of this year.
23-year old Patrick Michael Howley, Jr. of Brenham was sentenced to three years in prison on two charges of Assault Family Violence/Previous Conviction.
Howley was arrested by Brenham Police after warrants were issued back in May.
23-year old Jose Alejandro Dominguez, Jr. of Cotulla was sentenced to three years in prison for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon.
31-year old Labyron Desmond Dever of Brenham, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to two years in prison for a 2015 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance.
55-year old Randy Eugene Clayton of Brenham, was placed on 10 years’ probation for a February arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance. He was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 250 hours community service.
And, 29-year old Jeremy Jerone Johnson of Washington, was placed on two years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
