BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING SUNDAY NIGHT

  

Update #1: Brenham police are continuing their investigation of a shooting incident early Sunday morning.

Just after 2:05 a.m., officers were called out to a shooting in progress at the Valero gas station on Highway 105 and Blue Bell Road.

Police report the incident started at a private party at the American Legion Hall on North Park Street, then moved to the Valero gas station, where the shooting took place.  The caller advised that they heard multiple shots fired.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a victim who was not shot, but was taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries.  Police say no one was struck by gunfire.

Police are continuing their investigation, and will release more information as it becomes available.

Original Story: Brenham Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the early morning hours Sunday at the Valero gas station on Highway 105 and Bluebell road.  Police report that the incident began at a private party at the American Legion Hall on North Park Street and then moved to the Valero gas station where the shooting took place. Reportedly, no one was stuck by the gunfire and there were no injuries reported.  The case is still under investigation and further details are expected to be released Monday.
