ASCO EQUIPMENT LOOKING TO RESUME BUSINESS MONDAY

  

ASCO Equipment Company’s Brenham location will still be in business, following a massive fire last week.

The company is currently operating out of a temporary building, after last Monday night’s fire destroyed the store at 2800 Highway 290 West.  However, officials with ASCO say most of the store’s inventory was not damaged.

Brenham Branch Manager Tony Lawrence expects to open back up at the same location by Monday.

 

Lawrence says he has been sending out emails to customers, letting them know what the state of the business is.

He says the fire has sped up plans for renovation.

 

Preliminary investigation has led the Brenham Fire Department to believe the fire was accidental.  Investigators say the fire started in or around a piece of equipment in the shop area.
