BURTON’ S WINTERS SIGNS WITH T.C.U.

Burton football star De’Monderick Winters has signed his National Letter-of-Intent.

Winters signed Wednesday, to play for the TCU Horned Frogs.

Winters was recently named Second Team All-State wide receiver by the Associated Press.

This past season, Winters caught 40 passes for 948 yards and 13 touchdowns, and rushed for 681 yards and 15 touchdowns.  On the defensive side of the football, he recorded 52 solo tackles, with three interceptions—returning two for touchdowns.  He also averaged 28 yards per punt return with one touchdown.

Winters said he’s “always wanted to be a Horned Frog.  When they said they wanted me, it made my decision easy on where to sign.”

ESPN ranks the Horned Frogs’ recruiting class #31 in the nation—number three in the Big 12.
