POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN CHRISTMAS DAY BURGLARY IN BRENHAM

Brenham police are investigating a Christmas evening burglary, and are asking for the public’s help.
According to Detective Michael Davis, the burglary occurred between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot between Westwood Cinema 6 and Horseshoe Junction.
Surveillance footage shows a suspect in a silver four-door sedan pulling up alongside a red truck in the parking lot, breaking into the driver side door, and stealing a high-powered rifle from the back seat.
