WARRANT ISSUED FOR SUSPECT IN SHOOTING AT BRENHAM CONVENIENCE STORE

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a fourth suspect in the shooting incident that occurred mid-November in Brenham.
Brenham police are searching for 24-year-old Tyrin Hunter, who they say is connected to the incident from November 18th at the Valero gas station on Highway 105. The warrant issued is for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Three suspects have been arrested and charged thus far in the case: 18-year-old Kelvin James Levi Jr., 27-year-old John Thomas Howard, and 33-year-old Rodney Rayonn Tates, all from Brenham. Each was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Howard was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Just after 2 a.m. on November 18th, police were called out to a shooting in progress at the gas station. Police reported the incident began at a private party at the American Legion Hall on North Park Street, then moved over to the station, where the shooting took place. No one was struck by the gunfire that followed.
As investigation is still ongoing, police declined to give information on any other potential suspects.
