GUNS AND HOSES BLOOD DRIVE SET FOR FRIDAY, SATURDAY

  

The Guns and Hoses blood drive gets underway this weekend.

Starting tomorrow (Friday), the blood donor coach will be at Brenham City Hall, at 200 West Vulcan Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Saturday, the drive will move to the Fireman’s Training Center at 1101 Highway 290 West, also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For those that arrive early, there will be pastries served from Max Donuts, in addition to snacks and juices.  A light lunch with sodas will be served at 11 a.m.

Volunteers from the Brenham Police and Fire Departments will offer child care both days of the drive, while their parents give blood.  Donors will get a free “Commit for Life” t-shirt.
