WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER ELECTRICITY AGREEMENT FOR ROAD AND BRIDGE FACILITY

  

Washington County Commissioners will have a relatively short agenda when they meet Tuesday morning.

The court will consider a service agreement between the Road and Bridge Department and Bluebonnet Electric Service.  The agreement is for installation and providing of electricity for the new Road and Bridge facility.

The county is planning to use cash in reserves to fund the project, which will be built on 21 acres of property on Highway 36 North.  The facility will house the Road and Bridge Department, rural addressing and environmental services.

Also on the agenda, commissioners will look to reappoint Bryan Ruemke as the Emergency Management Coordinator.  They will also hear a formal notice for utility installation for a two-inch road bore at 2830 Airport Road, in Precinct 1.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m., at the Washington County Courthouse.
