BURTON LOOKING FOR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH VOLUNTEERS
The City of Burton is looking for volunteers for its developing Neighborhood Watch program.
Mayor David Zajicek announced at Tuesday’s city council meeting that the program is searching for watch captains and late-night volunteers.
The program is still in its planning stages after being approved at January’s council meeting. Zajicek said the city is looking into tying the program with ones in the City of Brenham and Washington County.
