HOUSTON MAN SENTENCED TO 32 YEARS IN BRENHAM TRIAL
A Houston man has been sentenced to prison after he was found guilty of Tampering with Evidence in Washington County.

43-year old Kelby Moore, was found guilty late Wednesday of Tampering with Evidence. Moore was arrested following a traffic stop last July. Moore reportedly swallowed a white substance during the stop.
Moore’s was sentenced to 32-years in prison as a Habitual Felony Offender.
Moore has two previous convictions for cocaine delivery and one for family violence in Washington County and one for vehicle theft in Grimes County.
District Attorney Julie Renken complemented the work of prosecutors Derek Estep and Ryan Adams. She commented, “Once again, a habitual felon is going to prison for decades.”
