BRENHAM ISD TO CELEBRATE TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
Brenham ISD invites the community to celebrate Texas Public Schools Week.
Next week, from March 4th to the 8th, citizens are invited to come out to any Brenham ISD campus and take part in a variety of activities.
On Monday and Tuesday, Muffins with Moms and Donuts with Dads will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the library on each campus. Guests are asked to bring their ID and check in with the front office when they arrive.
On Wednesday, follow the #BISDwired hashtag on social media to see how the school district is teaming up for success in the school district. On “Thank a Teacher Thursday”, people are encouraged to send a special note of thanks or a Cub Compliment to school staff members.
Finally, on “Follow Us Friday”, students and teachers are invited to wear Cub green from head to toe and “Green out”.
Each day will also have a separate theme for the district. Monday is “Hats off to Brenham ISD”, so students can wear their favorite hat. Tuesday’s “We’re wild about Brenham ISD” encourages students to wear animal print or camo.
On Wednesday, wear college or sports gear to “Team up for success”. Thursday’s theme is “Public schools are our future”, so students can dress like their future career. Friday’s theme is “Green out” Friday.
Each campus in the district will be taking part in the daily activity. To learn more about each activity, go online to www.brenhamisd.net.
