FOUR ARRESTED LOCALLY ON WARRANTS THIS WEEKEND
Four people were arrested by Brenham Police over the weekend on outstanding warrants.
Friday, around 6:30 p.m., 24-year old Joseph Goodwin of San Marcos was pulled over on Highway 290, after a report of a reckless driver.
According to police, Goodwin was wanted on an active warrant for his arrest for a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission violation.
He was taken into custody.
Then, around 7:00 p.m., Friday, police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person near 1500 FM 389.
58-year old Robert Crawford of Brenham was arrested at the scene on a warrant for Assault—Impeding Breath, out of Washington County.
Crawford was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Saturday evening, just before 8:00, police were called to the 1500 block of Lauraine St. to a disturbance.
According to police, they found that one of the subjects at the scene, 40-year old Sam Heard of Brenham, was wanted on a local active felony warrant.
Heard was taken into custody for Assault of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction out of Washington County.
Just before midnight Sunday, a traffic stop in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway turned up 22-year Jadlyn King of Brenham.
King was wanted on an active warrant for Theft of Livestock. He was also taken to the Washington County Jail.
