BRENHAM H.S. MCJROTC HEADED TO NATIONALS FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR

The Brenham High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC program has earned its third consecutive trip to the National Championship.
The Brenham cadets took the top spot at the MCJROTC Region 5 Drill Meet this past weekend at College Park High School in The Woodlands.
The Armed Drill Team, commanded by senior Kody Province and sophomore Wyatt Trevino, placed first in Regulation Drill and first in Exhibition Drill.
The Unarmed Drill Team, led by sophomore Alexandra Perez and senior Dre’Nysce Brown, placed first in Regulation Drill.
The Color Guard, commanded by junior Kylee Adams placed second. Additionally, the cadets placed third in Inspection.
Nationals will be held April 13th in the Washington, D.C. area, giving the top 16 schools throughout the U.S. the chance to compete for the honor of National Champion.
Highlights will include the opening ceremony presentation of Colors by the US Marine Corps Color Guard, and performance by the 8th and I US Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon.
