WASHINGTON CO. RESERVE DEPUTY PASSES AWAY
A reserve deputy for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has died.
71-year old Deputy Lee Davis Augustson, 71, died Friday in Brenham.
Augustson, a native of Jolliet, Illinois, served the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He was a businessman in industrial supply.
Augustson served several years as a reserve deputy for the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, a son and two grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., tonight (Monday), at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., preceding the service.
