LINEUP FOR 2019 “HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES” ANNOUNCED

The 2019 band lineup for Downtown Brenham’s “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert series has been announced.
“Midnight Express” kicks off the popular summertime concert series on Saturday, July 6th on the courthouse square. “Midnight Express” is an all-rock cover band based in Bryan-College Station, specializing in classic rock from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. They are sponsored this year by the Associated Credit Union of Texas, South Texas Tack, Tippit Dental Group, and Brannon Industrial Group.

The second weekend of “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes”, July 13th, will feature the return of the fan favorite Austin band “Suede”. Appearing for the 11th year in a row, “Suede” performs music from the 70’s through today, and always keeps the crowd rocking. “Suede” is sponsored by J&A Roofing, Woodson Lumber Company, Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, and Citizens State Bank.

July 20th will bring “The Rock-A-Fellas” to town, based in Austin and Bryan-College Station. Their high-energy shows feature rock, country, Motown, disco, blue, classics, retro, and anything from the 50’s and beyond. “The Rock-A-Fellas” are sponsored by Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Baylor Scott and White Health, and Strand Associates, Inc.

Closing out this year’s series on July 27th is “The Argyles”, based out of Austin. “The Argyles” can play just about everything from an extensive songlist covering hits from the classics to today, including disco, funk, rock, jazz, country, pop, and more. They are sponsored this year by Brenham National Bank, Seidel Schroeder and Co., Dahmann and Associates, LLC, and Hospice Brazos Valley.
