LCRA TO PERFORM COMMUNITY ACTS FRIDAY FOR STEPS FORWARD DAY
The Lower Colorado River Authority will be performing several acts of service on Friday, as part of its 5th Annual Steps Forward Day.
Employees and volunteers will be working on more than 30 projects throughout the LCRA service territory during the day of service. Several of these projects will be taking place in and around the Brazos Valley.
Crews will be cleaning up a nature trail at Hohlt Park in Brenham, painting public facilities at White Rock Park in La Grange, painting the Golf Course Club meeting room in Giddings, painting curbs around the city square in Lexington, prepping and painting around the Garden Center in Hallettsville, and performing historic downtown gazebo painting in Flatonia.
Since the program was launched, hundreds of employees have worked on more than 120 community projects from the Hill Country to the Texas Gulf Coast.
