SCHULENBURG SAUSAGEFEST SET FOR SATURDAY
The 6th Annual Schulenburg Sausagefest is set for this weekend in downtown Schulenburg.
Festivities begin Saturday morning with Texas’s Shortest Parade at 11:15 a.m., followed by a performance from the Schulenburg ISD Shorthorn Band at 11:30 a.m. and opening ceremonies at 11:45 a.m.
Guests to downtown Schulenburg can look forward to sausage-making contests; wine, pickle and sauerkraut contests; the Wurst Run Ever Fun Run; hog calling contest, and more.
There will also be music provided by the Moravians, the Czechaholics, Mark Halata and Texavia, and Bill Pekar and the Rainey Brothers.
