FAITH MISSION AND SALVATION ARMY PARTNERING TO PROVIDE SUMMER CAMP

Faith Mission is once again partnering with the Salvation Army to provide summer camp for local children.

Each year, Faith Mission provides area kids the chance to attend Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, Texas.  This year’s camp will be Monday, June 17th through Saturday, June 22nd.

Children ages 10-12 from Washington and Burleson Counties are invited to attend the camp.  Registration is first come, first serve, and is open through May 1st.  There are 80 spots total.

Dalia Vela, with Faith Mission, says there will be plenty of activities available for kids to take part in.

Vela says the camp is great for children whose parents might be working and unable to take them somewhere for summer break.

To register, visit the Washington County Health and Service Clinic in Brenham at 100 South Chappell Hill Street, and ask for Vela or Reverend Randy Wells.  You can also call 979-251-9882.

Orientation will be held Saturday, June 1st at 10 a.m. at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham, at 314 East Alamo Street.
