BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO FOUR CALLS ON FRIDAY

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to four calls on Friday.

Just before 8am, firefighters responded to a crash at the 2800 Block of FM 50. BFD checked and everything was okay, so they returned to service. No injuries were reported.

The Brenham Fire Department responded to another reported crash at the 2100 Block of Hwy 290 West at 4:40pm. BFD provided traffic control until the vehicles were cleared off the roadway. Once the roadway was cleared, BFD returned to service.  

BFD units responded to a fire investigation at the 1800 of Highway 105 at 5:40pm. They arrived and found out that it was a controlled burn at the location, so they returned to service.

For the final call, the Brenham Fire Department responded to a rescue at the 700 Block of Campbell Street at 6:15pm. BFD was cancelled enroute to the call and returned to service.
