OVER $221,000 AWARDED AT BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP CEREMONY

  

Over $221,000 in scholarships was awarded to Brenham High School Seniors at Monday night’s 32^nd Annual Scholarship Ceremony.

Presented by the Brenham High School National Honor Society in the high school auditorium, dozens of students were presented scholarships ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.

Danielle Deans, daughter of John and Elizabeth Deans, was named Valedictorian with a GPA of 4.7086, while Andrea Jantzi, daughter of David and Collena Jantzi, was named Salutatorian with a GPA of 4.5354.

Deans said one of the keys to having success in school is getting everything done right and on time.

 

Jantzi said it’s important for students to not overstress themselves trying to be perfect, but to just do the best they can do.

 

Graduation this year will be held Saturday, May 25^th.  KWHI will broadcast the ceremony from Cub Stadium live, starting at 8 p.m.
