PART OF SALEM ROAD CLOSED FOR REPAIRS
The Washington County Road and Bridge Department has temporarily closed a portion of Salem Road for emergency repairs.
Salem Road is closed between Apperson Road and Woodlands Road.
County Engineer Ross McCall said the road was closed this (Thursday) morning, after an issue with a road bore crossing. He said he expects the issue to be resolved, and the road re-opened, later today.
Salem Road is located south of Brenham, off Highway 36 South. Drivers are asked to observe all warning signs and barricades.
