BRENHAM AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO TALK CURRENT AIRPORT STANDARDS, FUTURE NEEDS

  

The Brenham Airport Advisory Board will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon to discuss current operations and future needs for the Brenham Municipal Airport.

The board will discuss minimum standards for the airport, along with current issues regarding airport operations and future airport needs.

City staff have been working to develop a draft of the minimum standards document, and are wanting the board to review the document and provide input.

Board members will also compare hangar and ground lease fees of the airport in Brenham to airports in the area.  They will also discuss the placement of fuel tanks and construction of a fixed-base operator (FBO) on a lease area owned by Brent Nedbalek.

The board will meet tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at the Brenham Municipal Airport, at 3001 Aviation Way.
