Last weekend, a group of Model A enthusiasts visited the Burton Cotton Gin.

The Brazos Valley A’s Model A Club braved the threat of rain Saturday—with no windshield wipers—to take a tour of the oldest operating cotton gin in America.  Jerry and Ann Morgan hosted members of the club for the group tour.

Ann Morgan gained a love for history from her father, the late Dr. Boy Hasskarl, a lifelong Brenham physician.

Hour-long tours of the museum and historic gin are offered Tuesdays through Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The group rate is $5 per person.  There is no charge to visit the exhibits and watch the video of the 105-year-old cotton gin in action.

For more information, visit www.texascottonginmuseum.org.
