BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. SERVICES CLOSED FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY

  

Brenham and Washington County offices will be closed next Thursday to celebrate the 4th of July.

Brenham City Hall and the Washington County Courthouse will be closed, along with municipal court, pet adoption and animal services, the citizens collection station, and recycling center.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will have holiday activities from 1 to 4 p.m. on the 4th.  The Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, but will be open for regular hours on Saturday.  The downtown Brenham Farmer and Artisan Market is still slated for Friday afternoon from 3 to 7 p.m.

The Brenham and Washington County Visitor Center will be closed on the 4th, but will be open Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  A pair of historic movies will be shown at the Visitor Center Saturday and Sunday, starting at 1:30 p.m.

There will not be any residential trash pick-up services, but commercial trash services will continue as normal.
