SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARREST IN 2-YEAR OLD THEFT CASE

The Washington County Sheriff’s office has made an arrest in the theft of a tractor, reported stolen over two years ago.
Deputies were alerted Tuesday, to a tractor that was parked on property off Pledger Road in northwest Washington County.
According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, a check revealed the Case tractor was one that had been reported stolen from a parking area of a Chappell Hill business in June of 2017.
Police arrested 20-year old Ashton Keith McNabb on a charge of Theft of Property.
McNabb was taken into custody without incident. He later posted $30,000 bond and has been released.
The tractor is valued at $61,000.
