SNOW’S BBQ IN LEXINGTON WINS TEXAS MONTHLY VOTE FOR BEST BARBECUE IN STATE

  

A barbecue joint in Lexington has been crowned the best in the state by a prestigious Texas publication.

Snow’s BBQ defeated Brett’s Backyard BBQ in Rockdale in a reader’s choice vote hosted by Texas Monthly.  The final vote saw Snow’s topping Brett’s 55 percent to 45 percent.

The six rounds of votes saw more than 11,000 votes cast for the 32 restaurants in the vote, which featured local favorites such as LJ’s BBQ and Truth BBQ in Brenham, and 1775 Texas Pit BBQ in College Station.

Snow’s was also named best barbecue restaurant in the state by Texas Monthly in 2017.  Earlier this year, Brett’s was listed among the top 25 up and coming joints, along with LJ’s and 1775 Texas Pit BBQ.
