CHILD DIES AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN COLLEGE STATION

  

A two-year-old girl was killed in College Station Sunday afternoon, after she was struck by a vehicle.

Investigators with the College Station Police Department said the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the Woodway Mobile Home Park in the 3000 block of Texas Avenue South.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle said he did not see the child playing in the driveway.

The child was taken by family members to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Investigation confirmed the girl’s death was an accident.  No charges are expected to be filed.
