COMMUNITY INVITED TO “MEET THE CUBS” WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT CUB STADIUM

  

The next season of fall sports in Brenham kicks off tonight (Wednesday) at Cub Stadium.

The “Meet the Cubs” rally, tonight at 7 p.m., will introduce the community to Brenham’s fall athletes, along with the Cub Band, Brenham Belles Dance Team, and the junior high and high school cheerleaders.

The Belles will be selling chicken sandwiches and tea as a fundraiser for their dance team.  Sandwiches are $5, while a sandwich with tea is $6.

Cub football gets underway next Friday night with a non-district away game at Magnolia West.  Kickoff there is 7:30 p.m., with pregame coverage starting at 7 p.m., on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.
