HOME SWEET FARM, LJ’S BBQ SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH “BACK THE BLUE” SATURDAY

A pair of Brenham businesses are looking to support local law enforcement with a celebration this weekend.

Home Sweet Farm and LJ’s BBQ are teaming up to host “Back the Blue” Saturday, from 3 to 11:30 p.m. at Home Sweet Farm on 307 South Park Street.

Live music will be provided by Rob Moorman and Company starting at 4 p.m., and John Egan at 8:30 p.m.  LJ’s BBQ will start serving street food at 7 p.m.

Brad Stufflebeam, owner of Home Sweet Farm, said the event was set up to thank the people who risk their lives to keep the public safe.

Stufflebeam said the two businesses will be donating a portion of their sales proceeds.

  1. This article shows a “portion of the proceeds will be donated”…but donated to what exactly? I am VERY PROUD SUPPORTER of law enforcement, namely our local departments so in order to support this cause, it would be nice to know where exactly you are going to be distributing these monies that you raise from all these donations & silent auction items you are asking for from the public & form other businesses. I feel like this needs to be explained more clearly.
