BRENHAM P.D. MAKE FAMILY VIOLENCE ARREST

A Brenham man faces an assault charge after his arrest late Saturday night.
Just after 10:30, police were called to the 900 block of West Main St. to an alleged assault.
53-year old Earl Mathis of Brenham was taken into custody after police officers say they witnessed him assault the victim.
Mathis was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
He is charged with Assault of a Family Member/Impeding Breath or Circulation.
